I have a few weddings this year that will take me on the road, but none farther that Carissa-Lynn & Blair’s wedding in Lethbridge next month.

We weren’t expecting to be able to do an engagement session together, given our distance, but they were able to make it up for a quick session last month.

Funny story. When Dave & I got engaged, I picked out my ring. I talked price with the salesperson and walked out of the store with it in Dave’s pocket (she wouldn’t let me have it lol). I tend to be indecisive and usually go with price first (lesson still not learned). When that doesn’t work for me, I bump quality up and move price down. I did this with my cameras, and I did it with my engagement rings. Anyways, the 2nd ring I picked out, after deciding that the first one wasn’t going to cut it, is identical to the one Carissa-Lynn is sporting, so I’m a big fan :) (on a side note, I took that ring back and picked out a matching set instead and have settled on that one now, going on 5 years … third time’s a charm) … and on an even more side note, the ring shots I got of Carissa-Lynn’s ring are some of my favourites to date, so I’m including 3 of them in this blog post :)
