Carley + Dean had an amazing wedding. I met up with Carley at her parents incredible house while they got ready. I love that house, and I was only there a short time :)

We moved on to Timber Lodge, which I’ve never heard of, but is the most wonderful place (how many descriptive words can I come up without repeating myself? Stay tuned.). I love that place too, and I was there for just a few hours. 

We made an impromptu stop to pick up Dean’s dad’s Viper. Enough said. No descriptive words here. 

The reception was held at the Best Western in Stony Plain and I got to hang out with Ashley from Simply Unique Weddings, who did an awesome job at coordinating such a great day!

Please make sure that you watch the slideshow at the end of this post. The song I used is called Romeo & Juliet from The Killers. It was the song from their first dance, and one of the lyrics is “I’d do the stars with you anytime” was a significant factor in their wedding. I heard it in the vows, saw it on an invitation and continued through their decor.

I do love me some non-white shoes … and they look even better when hooked on the front doors of Carley’s parents fireplace … did I mention I love this house?

 I’m not sure if they thought I was crazy or not when I asked if we could hang the dress from the chandelier. I really wanted to grab the stairs though.

 Lots of teary moments. Those are some of my favourites from the receptions I shoot.

These next two were dancing so hard, I love this picture. In fact, everyone got up right away and started dancing, so much fun!
