Stubborn fake blood on Courtenay’s face from Halloween the night before, winter colds & then a haircut gone wild on one of her boys. That’s what delayed us from doing a family session with Courtenay & her crew 3 times before this one. We finally were able to get together for a session, but had to move it indoors due to some disgustingly cold weather (I think it was somewhere around -30 when we did this).
Little Miss S. didn’t really want to cooperate (understandable when you’re 18 months old), Mr. E pretty much did everything that was asked (I really love that kid’s easy going personality. I wish my own 3-year old was as cooperative) and Mr. K had a lot of cool ideas, so we pretty much just went with the flow.
I had such a hard time narrowing down my favourites, and I still couldn’t pick less than 14, so this is a huge post! If you want to see even more of this awesome family, check out my Facebook page.
I love Courtenay’s reaction when I sent her a couple of pictures as a preview … “holy s&#balls” lol. I asked her if I could use that as a testimonial on my website and she said I could, so watch for the pg-13 version on there soon :)
I know we totally missed out on getting these done in time for Christmas, but the next one would of been perfect to send out in a card :)
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with lots of love & good cooking :) I hosted dinner for 13 people here at my house, and I love it every year :) And, even though I’m still full of turkey, ham & the works that goes along with it - I can’t wait to be thoroughly sick of leftovers anytime now.
